Der um 385\/390 in Britannien geborene Missionar brachte den christlichen Glauben nach Irland.\u00a0Im 18. und 19. Jahrhundert begannen Millionen von irischen Einwanderern in den USA, am 17. M\u00e4rz an ihre Heimat zu erinnern. Die\u00a0St.-Patricks-Parade war ins Leben gerufen. Gr\u00fcn ist die Farbe\u00a0am 17.
